Double Reflective Insulation
Product Description:
Aluminum Bubble is an
insulation material that is coated with aluminum foil on both sides and has a
balloon material in between.
The most important
function of Aluminum Bubble Wrap is to provide heat insulation. The outer and
inner foil layers act as reflectors, reflecting hot air in the summer and cold
air in the winter. It also prevents insects from entering and breeding inside the
vehicle.
In insulation
applications in areas such as caravans, prefabricated structures and roofs,
walls, garages and warehouses. Bizofol bubble aluminium foil is adhered to all
surfaces without leaving any gaps by applying silicone, acrylic or water-based
adhesive.
Double Reflective
Insulation (0,375 lb.) Aluminum Bubble is an insulation material consisting of
bubble nylon material coated with aluminum foil on both sides. This material
acts as a reflector, reflecting hot air in summer and cold air in winter,
preventing pest reproduction in vehicles and buildings.
This product consists
of 3-layer bubble wrap with 1 layer of 0,17 lb. in the middle, laminated with
0.09 lb. aluminum foil on both sides.
Advantages
· It is long-lasting
with its structure resistant to fungus, mold and moisture.
· Clean, light, easy to
install.
· Convective and
conductive heat insulation.
· It is effective
against hot and cold insulation. It saves energy.
It can be used in
tent manufacturing, roof insulation, Cold chain packaging and container
insulation as well as automobile sunshade. Its application is extremely easy
compared to similar products, its heat insulation values are high, and its cost
is extremely economical in total costs.
Thermal
Performance
Foil and reflective
films have a low emissivity, meaning very little radiation passes through the
surface material. The lower the emissivity of a reflective surface, the higher
its reflection, blocking 94-97% of heat transfer to keep buildings cooler in summer
and warmer in winter.
,
Double Reflective How
does insulation provide thermal insulation?
1. Radiation - Foil coatings act
as radiant shields.
2. Conduction - Air trapped in
bubbles slows down transfer from molecule to molecule.
3. Convection - When installed
with a ¾ inch air gap, convection currents are minimized, increasing total
system R-value by 1-2 points.
Main areas of use
· Roofs
: Staple to rafters, foil side down, leaving 1 inch of air space.
· Walls: Strips
of fur create the necessary gap; finish with drywall or metal siding.
· Scanning
spaces : The foil faces the living area; the seams are sealed to prevent
moisture.
· HVAC
Ducts : Wrap the outer section, overlapping seams 2 inches and taping.
Points to consider
when using
· Use
a sharp knife: scissors will crush the bubbles.
· Seal
each seam with approved aluminum tape to maintain the vapor barrier. Ensuring
overlaps and airtight seals are essential for both moisture control and
maintaining a continuous reflective surface. For best results, it is
recommended that seams overlap by at least 2 inches.
· In
humid areas, install permeable house wrap on the exterior to manage
condensation.
· With
its low emissivity, the shiny side must face a closed air gap or adjacent air
film to effectively reflect radiant heat.
· A
minimum of 3/4 inch air space adjacent to the reflective surface is recommended
for optimum performance.
